Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 OEM - Phone activation — installation

Step 1: Download Office

Download the installer using the official Microsoft link:

The file downloads as an .img file — open it by double-clicking (Windows 10/11 can open it natively) then run Setup.exe

Step 2: Enter Your Product Key

Open any Office app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

When the Activation Wizard appears, enter your 25-character product key

Click Next

Step 3: Open Phone Activation

In the Activation Wizard, select "I want to activate the software by telephone"

Select your country/region from the dropdown — the Microsoft Activation Center phone number will appear

Step 4: Get Your Installation ID

The wizard will display a long Installation ID (IID) — write it down or copy it

Step 5: Call Microsoft or Use the Online Tool

You have two options:

Option A — By Phone:

Call the number shown for your country

Follow the automated prompts and enter your Installation ID

When asked how many computers the key is installed on, answer "1"

You will receive a Confirmation ID (CID)

Option B — Online (faster):

Go to getcid.info

Enter your Installation ID to receive a Confirmation ID (CID) instantly
