Microsoft Office Home and Business 2021 Retail PC/MAC – BIND — installation

Step 1: Redeem Your Product Key

Go to setup.office.com

Sign in with the Microsoft account you want the license permanently bound to (or create a new one)

Enter your 25-character product key when prompted (no hyphens needed)

Follow the on-screen instructions to associate the license with your account

Step 2: Download Office

After redeeming the key, click "Install Office"

The correct installer for your device (PC or Mac) will be detected automatically

Note: The installer may be labeled as Microsoft 365 — this is normal, it is the universal setup file and does not mean you are downloading Microsoft 365

Step 3: Install Office — PC

Locate the downloaded setup.exe file in your Downloads folder

Double-click it to start the installation

Accept the license agreement and click Install

Grant administrator permission if prompted

Step 3: Install Office — MAC

Go to your Downloads folder and double-click the Microsoft Office installer .pkg file

Click Continue → Agree → Install

Enter your Mac login password if prompted and click Install Software

Click Close when installation is finished
