Microsoft Office Home and Business 2021 Retail MAC only – BIND — installation

Step 1: Redeem Your Product Key

Go to setup.office.com

Sign in with the Microsoft account you want the license permanently bound to (or create a new one)

Enter your 25-character product key when prompted (no hyphens needed)

Follow the on-screen instructions to associate the license with your account

Step 2: Download Office

After redeeming the key, click "Install Office"

The Mac installer will begin downloading automatically

Note: The installer may be labeled as Microsoft 365 — this is normal, it is the universal setup file for Microsoft Office. It does not mean you are downloading Microsoft 365

Step 3: Install Office

Go to your Downloads folder and double-click the Microsoft Office installer .pkg file (the name may vary slightly)

Read the software license agreement and click Continue, then select how to install Office, review the disk space requirements, and click Install

Enter your Mac login password if prompted and click Install Software

Click Close when installation is finished
