Microsoft Office Home 2024 PC (non BIND) - Retail — installation

Step 1: Prepare

Uninstall any previous version of Office from your PC to avoid conflicts.

Have your 25-character product key ready (from your retail card, email, or receipt).

Step 2: Redeem the Product Key

Go to www.office.com/setup and sign in with your Microsoft account. If you don't have one, create a new one — make sure you remember it, as you'll need it to reinstall Office later. Microsoft Learn

Follow the prompts to enter your product key (no hyphens required).

Step 3: Download & Install

Follow the on-screen instructions to download Office. Once downloaded, locate the setup.exe file in your Downloads folder and double-click it to start the installation.

Accept the license agreement and click Install. You may need to grant administrator permission when prompted.
